Owen Laverty, Head of Enterprise in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown explained: “The search to find Ireland’s best young entrepreneur began back in August when we were deeply impressed with the high calibre of entries. After a very successful Enterprise Day, Bootcamp and County competition, I’m delighted that the considerable achievements of GloFox have been recognised at the Dublin regional level and will go forward to represent Team DLR at the national finals in early March. I would like to pay tribute to all the Team DLR IBYE participants, particularly our other regional finalists Jonny Cosgrove of meetingRoom.io and Caroline Gleeson of Bidrecruit for their hard work and commitment. It is safe to say that the future of enterprise and job creation in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown is bright.”
IBYE Co-ordinator for DLR, Mariea Mullally concluded, “The team in Local Enterprise Office DLR are delighted with the success of GloFox and look forward to supporting them further in their efforts to win the “Best Established Business” category at the IBYE National Finals on Sunday 4th March at the Dublin Headquarters of technology giant, Google. Hopefully Conor will follow on the DLR success in the same category last year where Ciara Clancy of Beats Medical took the national accolade.
