This call-out is open to artists living in Ireland working in any visual art or contemporary fine art led craft practice. One proposal may be submitted per applicant. We are also open to curators proposing an exhibition with a specific artist(s).

The work does not need to be new or specifically created for exhibition in dlr LexIcon. However, in order to provide dlr LexIcon visitors with the opportunity to engage with and experience different forms of art making, the work intended for the proposed exhibition must be new to the catchment audience of Dublin and the M50 area (outside of the commercial gallery sector) and should have been created within the last five years.

Please note that artists who have had an exhibition in the Municipal Gallery as part of Open Call or Visual Art Commission opportunities in the period 2016-2023 are not eligible to apply. You may have had an artwork exhibited in the Open Submission Exhibition and be eligible to apply.
