Information Day for Musicians

These sessions will offer support by providing access to relevant and up-to-date expertise, resources and professional supports and focus once again on some of the non-artistic elements of a successful music performance career. Organised by Music Network as part of the Music Development Programme which is jointly funded by dlr Arts Office and the Arts Council.
The Kaleidoscopic Child
Project Room (beside the Gallery), dlr LexIcon from 12pm Monday 12 - Saturday 17 November
Twist, spin, build, turn, touch, solve, colour and peer into a world created to mirror the inside of a kaleidoscope without getting too dizzy! This amazing installation is open to play and explore when workshops are not taking place but please note that children need to be supervised at all times.
The Kaleidoscopic Child’ is a multi sensory interactive installation design with and for early years children. During the run of the ‘The Kaleidoscopic Child’ artist Helen Barry will run a number of performance based workshops for early years children that further turn our world inside out and upside down. These workshops are suitable for children with complex needs.

Groovy Movers offers free, fun dance workshops for all ages, skills and experience. Dance the winter away. Dancers Monica Munoz Marin and Olwyn Lyons have designed this age friendly programme of dance workshops so that everyone can get involved and get moving!
All workshops are free but booking required.

Kids Art Studio returns: Saturday 10 and Tuesday 13 November
Project Room (Level 3, beside the Gallery)
Every 2nd Tuesday of each month from 11am- 1pm and every 2nd Saturday of each month from 2.30-4.30pm
Join our Open Art Studio for kids of all ages. If your child likes to paint, draw, make, fold or sculpt this is not to be missed. Artists will be on hand to help as little or as much as you'd like, materials and space area free, please note that it is not the responsibility of the artists to supervise your child. No booking required, just drop in.
Open Art Studio for Adults
Project Room, Level 3 (beside the Gallery)
Every Friday from 11am-1pm, suitable for adults. Join our Open Studio, it doesn’t matter if you are new to this sort of thing or a practicing artist, come along. Artist Emma Finucane will be on hand to help as little or as much as you’d like, materials and space are free.
No booking required, just drop in.
