The Internet of Things (IoT) is central to a smart city where everyday objects are connected to the Internet allowing useful information to be communicated to other objects, machines or people. For cities this means for example more intelligent cities with better connected citizens, infrastructure, vehicles and buildings.
We are seeking solutions to facilitate connections over an IoT frequency mesh network. The challenge is about the network to allow connectivity and communications over all potential network infrastructure. The required solution would provide the missing link as it would allow insofar disparate devices to participate in the network and will also secure future proofing of the network. There is €70,000 in funding available.
We are hosting a briefing session for all prospective applicants to wish to learn more about the IoT challenge. It will be held on the 30th May, 2018 in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun-Laoghaire. Register here
The closing date for this challenge is the 28th June (4pm) 2018 and can be found on the etenders website
