Active Exercise open mornings
Are you over 55 and living in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown? Why not come along and bring a buddy to a FREE Active Exercise session in the dlr Leisure centres where you can try new activities and have fun.
During European Week of Sport in September, dlr Leisure are teaming up with DLR Sports Partnership and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council to organise open activity mornings (10am to 12pm) in the four public leisure centres. Anyone in the County over the age of 55 is invited to come along to one of these fun mornings in Loughlinstown (24th Sept.), Meadowbrook (25th Sept.), Monkstown (26th Sept.) and Ballyogan (27th Sept.)
Sports Forum 2018
The next meeting of the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Sports Forum is taking place on the 18th September 2018 at 7pm in Marlay Park House. All clubs are invited to join the Sports Forum and attend these inportant information sharing meetings.
Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Sports Partnership established the Sports Forum in 2008 to act as an information and support structure for all clubs in the County. Now in operation for ten years, the Sports Forum facilitates better communication to and between clubs where members tackle issues of mutual interest, discover methods of overcoming issues and identifying best practice. The Core Credit Union dlr Community 5K is back again to celebrate its 10th anniversary!
Want to take part in a fun active event for all the family? If so register now for the Core Credit Union dlr Community 5K, taking place on Saturday 6th October 2018. The race starts at 2pm.
