Intro Text

Please take care of yourself, your family and of course all pets tonight, but of course remember to have fun.

  • Smoke from burning waste causes harm, if inhaled,
  • Pets and wildlife are very sensitive  to loud noises,
  • Remind your children of road safety,
  • Drivers, please be extra careful of children crossing roads,
  • Respect emergency services, as they all work hard to keep you safe.

All our litter wardens, cleansing and parks staff will be vigilant in keeping an eye out for stockpiled bonfire material. We endeavour to collect this waste from public lands quickly, where possible. This may be dependent on the safety of our staff as, in some situations, Garda assistance may be required.

We will have extra crews on duty over Halloween and will endeavour to collect as much material as possible. We would ask you to report stockpiling to us by calling 01 205 4817 or email environ@dlrcoco.ie
