Here comes the sun!
With the summer upon us once more, we invite everybody to enjoy our many beaches and public spaces. We work hard to create and maintain the many wonderful public spaces dotted throughout the county, from our beaches and bathing areas, to our parks and landscaped areas and the many beautiful and inviting public realm spaces that have been created in the vicinity of our towns and villages.
Whilst we encourage all to make full use of and enjoy our outdoor spaces during the good weather, please be reminded that we all have a role to play in maintaining our public areas. Our outdoor teams will be hard at work throughout the summer months to ensure the essential maintenance of public spaces but naturally, the demands increase during peak periods and every little helps in keeping our environment clean and tidy.
Our community and public facilities are for everyone and always think of the person coming after you to enjoy a public space.
