The library service has recently moved to a new computer system and we are working through some teething issues as we continue to introduce the new system. We have had several issues relating to reservations which we are working hard to resolve.
Emails to inform library members when books or other items are available for collection have resumed – however, some library members have found that the emails from our new system are ending up in their junk mail.
If you have books or other items reserved, please check your junk mail folder for notices, and mark any you find from dlr Libraries as not junk. Similarly, notices about overdue items may also end up in the junk mail folder.
Finally, we encourage library members to contact their local dlr library first before making a trip to collect a reserved item to make sure it is definitely available, as we have had some issues whereby certain items are incorrectly appearing as available for collection.
