Shanganagh Park & Cemetery Development - Phase 1 Update
We apologise for the incorrect information published in the March edition of SCAN, that states revised plans for Shanganagh Phase 1 have now been published and that a public consultation session would be held on March 11th. Since this article went to print, we have decided that further time is required to fully consider all community feedback and next steps on the project. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we complete this step. This page will continue to be updated with the latest project news.
Following a series of public consultation sessions on the proposed plans for Phase 1 development of Shanganagh Park in January 2023, a report with the outcomes of these sessions is now available to read below. Connect the Dots, community and stakeholder engagement consultants, have been working over the last few weeks to capture and consolidate all of the community feedback from these sessions. This report has been prepared solely by Connect the Dots as independent consultants to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (DLRCC), and as such is an impartial analysis of the information gathered at each session.
A revision of the plans presented at these sessions is being considered by DLRCC for the next phase of consultation.
Another public consultation session will be held at this stage, giving the community a further opportunity to speak with DLRCC representatives about the revised plans and to share their opinions. This page will be updated with the revised plans and details of the consultation event once published.
If you have any queries on the above or would like more information you can contact parksconsultations@dlrcoco.ie.
