dlr has several events happening for National Tree week 31st March - 7th April 2019. The event scheule is available below, further events may be added during the week.

Wednesday 3rd April  Tree planting with local school - reopening of Hudson Park. An Cathaoirleach Ossian Smyth attending  10.30/11 TBC Local School, Hudson Park  6+
Wednesday 3rd April  Tree Walk with Susan White Cabinteely Park  Not open to the public Cabinteely School   
Wednesday 3rd April  Native Tree Planting Event. Along with Cabinteely School they have also designed signs to create a tree identification walk through Cabinteely Park 2pm Cabinteely Village Cabinteely Tidy Towns 1
Thurs 4th April Tree planting with the local schools. Minister Mary Mitchell & An Cathaoirleach Ossian Smyth 3pm All welcome, plenty of trees for everyone to get involved.  Shankill Tidy Towns   
Friday 5th April The big launch of our wonderful countryside park, opening the new public entrance from Belarmine with lots of tree planting to take place on the day and chances to get involved 12.30pm Fernhill Launch and Tree Planting  DLR  
TBC St Gerards have recently created a wild area in their school and will be planting native trees throughout it Not open to the public St. Gerards school
