Intro Text

Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council (dlr) is preparing an Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) as part of a future planning application to An Bord Pleanála for the Glenamuck District Roads Scheme (GDRS) development located to the east of the R117 and southwest of the M50 Motorway, between Carrickmines and Kiltiernan.  The GDRS will provide for:

 - the construction of the Glenamuck District Distributor Road, connecting the existing R117 Enniskerry Road with the Glenamuck Road East / Golf Lane Roundabout (c.890m of four lane dual carriageway and c.660 metres of two lane single carriageway road)

 -  the construction of the Glenamuck Link Distributor Road (c. 1800m of two-lane single carriageway road), connecting the new District Distributor Road to the R117 south of Kilternan, including  junctions with Glenamuck Road, Ballycorus Road and Barnaslingan Lane.

 - associated site development and landscaping works.

A public information evening will be held at the dlr Operations Depot (Ballyogan Depot), 84a Ballyogan Rd, Sandyford Dublin 18 between 4pm and 8pm on Wednesday 17th October 2018.

Any comments related to potential environmental impacts of the proposed development should be addressed to ‘Richard Hamilton, Future Analytics Consulting, 23 Fitzwilliam Square (South), Dublin D02 DRV08’, or info@futureanalytics.ie, by Friday 26th October 2018.

It is anticipated that the completed EIAR will be submitted to An Bord Pleanála in November 2018, accompanying a planning application by dlr, at which time it will be available for review and comment under statutory planning provisions.
