Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council are delighted to announce the Official Opening of the newly refurbished Marlay Craft Courtyard units in Marlay Park, Grange Road, Rathfarnham on Thursday the 20th September at 6.30 p.m.

The restoration of this protected structure is now home to numerous creative studios &  shops showcasing the best of Irish talent and craftsmanship. From fine art, jewellery, artisan textiles, skincare and fashion, to musical instruments, confectionery and more. Meet and chat to the makers & artists and discover their individual processes from start to end. Please see the brochure of all the current exhibitors.

The restoration of the Marlay Craft Courytard presents a significant opportunity to encourage new craft talent to set up business in this classic courtyard at Marlay Park. This will be a special place for the finest craftspeople to work and showcase their products".


Marlay House and Courtyard is located in the largest park in dlr's ownership. The House and Courtyard are protected structures and are significant in the context of the Park which is a major local amenity accessed by the public on a daily basis.
