Level 3 Covid 19 update for dlr

Along with the rest of Dublin, the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown area has been placed on Level 3 of the Framework for Restrictive Measures, for a period of 3 weeks, until Friday 9 October.

Services will be affected as follows:

  • Public access to County Hall, Dún Laoghaire & Dundrum Local Area Office will be by prior appointment only. Face coverings must be worn when attending for your appointment. Our phone line is 01 205 4700 or email info@dlrcoco.ie
  • dlr Libraries will close to the public but the Click and Collect and Book Drop services will remain available to all. Visit the dlr Libraries website to see how to avail of these services: https://bit.ly/3iGDAku 
  • Community centres will continue to operate in a limited capacity while following public health advice.  Please contact your local centre for more information.

  • dlr Leisure Centres and dlr swimming pools will remain open for individual training.  Classes will be suspended.

  • Parks and playgrounds remain open

Event Cancellations

  • National Bike Week Coastal 4km Cycle from Dún Laoghaire to Blackrock scheduled for Sunday September 27th is cancelled
  • Samhain Halloween event in Marlay Park scheduled for Sunday October 25th is also cancelled.

Cycle Clinics

  • Cycle Clinics for National Bike Week (week beginning 21 Sept) offering free bike check and basic repairs will go ahead as follows:
    • Thursday Sept 24  Crofton Road  12.30 to 3pm
    • Friday Sept 25  Carmanhall Road  12.30 to 3pm
    • Saturday Sept 26  Stillorgan Library 10.30 to 12.30pm
