Meet Gary Coyle

In this video Gary Coyle talks about the work in his exhibition 'On Returning', which was on show at dlr Municipal Gallery, from 24 July - 26 September 2021, and his long connection with his hometown of Dún Laoghaire. He talks about new departures in his work and working processes - inspired by Japanese Wood block prints of the 18th & 19th Centuries, images made on a computer using photo shop and a drawing tablet.

Meet Maree Hensey

Meet the Paper Conservation Studio

Meet Dr. Patrick McBride, conservator and founder of The Paper Conservation Studio and Ciara McQueirns, conservator in this studio visit.
They discuss the work of the studio which specialises in the conservation, restoration and preservation of paper based fine art materials including watercolours, prints, drawings, collages, posters and ephemera, as well as archival documents.
Examples of the fascinating recent project of a Self Portrait engraving by William Hogarth are included in this online studio visit, presentation and short demonstration of materials.
