Intro Text

dlr Arts Office invites professional musicians and performers to apply to perform outdoors in the County this summer under the Local Live Performance Programming Scheme. This is funded by The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.

The aim is to facilitate programming of outdoor live performances in a selection of public spaces throughout Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.  The scheme is open to professional performers and musicians only; all genres of performance are invited to apply (music, dance, circus, spectacle). Performers / Musicians must live in or work in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.

The deadline for applications is Wednesday 23 June 2021 @ 1.00pm. Applications must be made via the dlr Grants Portal.

We're inviting applications for performances which are approximately 30-45 minutes duration. Applicants should note that the outdoor set up will consist of simple staging with basic PA which would suit a performer/ group with straightforward mic’ing requirements (i.e. no monitors or additional effects). Indicative payment range per performance will be between €250 and €600 for individual performers and €500 and €1200 for groups. It is envisaged in the majority cases that selected performers will be offered one performance.

The programme will be selected by an external curator and feedback will not be given on applications.
