A greenway is to be constructed between Clay Farm Phase One and Cruagh Wood to provide improved permeability and better access for pedestrian and cyclists in the area.

The overall length of the proposed 4 metre wide Greenway will be 835 metres long, with 90 metres consisting of a boardwalk / bridge over an existing flooded plain and stream.

The objectives of the proposed Greenway are:-

The alternative journey distance by car, via Enniskerry Road, Kilgobbin Road and Ballyogan Road is in the order of 3 Km.
