Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council recognises the value of street art both as a visitor attraction and for its ability to transform and lift town centre areas, while also supporting artists in creating vibrant and creative communities. 

With this in mind, the Dún Laoghaire Street Art Project aims to create a collection of street art pieces in Dún Laoghaire, forming an open-air gallery in the town. The artworks will be located at outdoor sites around the town, and it is anticipated that they will include large scale, high-impact pieces alongside some smaller scale works.

Applications are now open to artists interested in participating in this project. Applicants are invited to submit a proposal by Wednesday February 24th 2021, with the project expected to be completed by June 2021.
