Intro Text
We have a significant Collection of indoor artworks which includes a large number of paintings and some small sculptures by 20th and 21st century Irish-based artists. These have been donated to, and bought by, dlr over the last number of decades; many of the artists have a strong connection to the county.
We also have a varied public art programme - art that shown in a public space, outside of a gallery, where it is available to a wide audience. We’ve been involved in public art for over 30 years and have lots of outdoor sculptures, both permanent and temporary.
