Short Films by Young People from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

This film will be available on Culture Night from 7pm on Friday the 18th of September.

This selection of short films is the result of a number of projects that took place between visual artist John Conway and young people in Ballybrack and Nutgrove Youth Services, with the support of Crosscare Youth Services and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office. Participants were supported in exploring the technical and creative aspects of film making, and they subsequently devised, directed, acted in and shot their own original work. The final short film, Strange Perspectives, took home the 'Best Sound' award at noise Youth Art Film Festival.

These short films were funded by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs.
