Event Description

Have you ever wanted to read, finish or just experience Ulysses?

We aim to read two chapters a month from late September 2022 to June 2023 - with one meeting every month at the library to discuss what we have covered so far.

No prior knowledge of Ulysses or Joyce is required, and to help with our understanding, reading notes and other helpful materials for each chapter will be provided by library staff in advance of each meeting.

We will focus on elements like Joyce’s use of language, Dublin as a setting and different themes that run through the book. But more importantly this book club is about finding the moments in Ulysses which resonate with you.
