Join dlr libraries staff member Matthew on 30 January and 6 February to learn more about the origins and work of the National Folklore Collection UCD, including oral historian Kevin C. Kearns and his work in Dublin across several decades. Participants are encouraged to think of stories that may have been handed down through older family members or friends to share with the group. 

On 13 February, we welcome Ríonach Uí Ógáin, former Director of the National Folklore Collection to discuss her own work as former director with the National Folklore Collection and the digitisation of the collection through the Dúchas website.
