The Dublin Parks Tennis league took place in July 2009 at tennis courts throughout the County. In total ten venues throughout Dún Laoghaire Rathdown participated in the five-week tennis-coaching scheme. Girls and boys aged 6-17 learned new skills and competed in a Dublin Wide league. Row, Row, Row Your Boat…

Young people from Dun Laoghaire Rathdown participated in a rowing camp in the Municipal Rowing Centre in Islandbridge in July. They learned the basics of rowing and got the opportunity to try out a number of different boats including training singles, doubles and fours, and a racing single. With inspiration from our international male & female rowing stars, rowing is a sport that is sure to grow in the future.
