Field sports
Seventy-six
pitches are provided catering for a range of team sports including Gaelic
games, soccer, rugby, American football, hockey and cricket and bowling.

Tennis
courts
There
are tennis courts at 11 locations throughout the County, many of which
are administered at local level by community based tennis clubs on the
basis of a management licence from the Council. A tennis-coaching scheme is operated at a number of the Courts
by the Dublin Parks Tennis league with assistance from the Council.
Golf
The
Council maintains a 9-hole golf course at Stepaside (for more information visit www.stepasidegolfcourse.com) and a 9-hole par
3 golf course at Marlay Park.

Athletics
An
all weather athletic track has been built in Kilbogget Park, Loughlinstown.
Cycleways
The
first phase of a network of cycle routes has been provided within Parks
and open spaces during 2001 and 2002. Public lighting has also been
installed on a number of these.
