NOTICE OF PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT BY A LOCAL AUTHORITY
Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as Amended)
Planning and Development Regulations, 2001 (as Amended)
In accordance with Part 8, Article 81 of the 2001-2012 Planning and Development Regulations, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council hereby gives notice of proposals pertaining to development as follows:
The proposal consists of:-
- Upgrading the existing car park to 145 number spaces including 6 no. disabled parking bays, 4 no. Electric charge points for electric cars, 40 no. bicycle parking spaces, closed circuit television, improved public lighting and Pay and Display.
- The open space development includes new paths and paved entrances, semi mature trees, ground contouring and mounding, high amenity grass land areas and meadows, park style railings, seating and sculptural elements.
In accordance with S.I. 476, 2011, Section 250, Planning and Development (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 2011 Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has determined that an Appropriate Assessment is not required.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development, including a Habitats Directive Screening Report, are available for inspection from Thursday 26th July, 2012 up to and including Thursday 6th September, 2012 (inclusive), at the Planning Department, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. and at the Council offices, Dundrum Office Park, Dundrum between the hours 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
Public Information Evenings:
Two Public Information evenings will be held in respect of the proposed developments at which Transportation Department staff will be available to answer queries and accept written submissions on the following dates:
Wednesday 15th August, 2012 & Thursday 16th August, 2012, St. Anne’s National School, Shankill, Co. Dublin between 4.00p.m. – 8.00p.m.
Submissions or observations with respect to the proposals, and dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area, may be made in writing on or before Thursday, 20th September, 2012 to:
