Deadline for payment of Non Principal Private Residence Charge for 2012 is 30th June 2012

All owners of residential properties within Ireland that are not being used by the owner(s) as their sole or main residence are liable for a charge of €200 for 2012.
The amount currently due per unit in respect of the unpaid 2012 N.P.P.R. charge is €200.
This amount will rise by €20 per month for each month it remains unpaid from 1st July, 2012.

All Rented Accommodation Scheme (R.A.S.) and Long Term Lease Initiative owners are now liable to pay the Non Principal Private Residence effective 2012 as prescribed in the Local Government (Household Charge) Act 2011
PLEASE NOTE: Owners of Non Principal Private Residences are also liable for the €100 Household Charge that was introduced under Local Government (Household Charge) Act 2011. See www.householdcharge.ie for details.
