LIBRARY VOICES. BRINGING LITERARY GREATS TO DÚN
LAOGHAIRE-RATHDOWN.
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Public Library service is proud to
launch the DLR Library Voices series. The library service has long
and rich tradition of cultural programming and this series is part
of our mission to present great literary names to the community

Voices -What is it?
It is a new DLR Libraries initiative that will be taking place from
April-June. It is a series of readings by high profile Irish and International
authors. There will be 5 events starting with Jodi Picoult (28th April),
Joseph O'Connor and Julia Kelly (22nd May), Hugo Hamilton (5th June),
John Boyne(17th June) and Cathy Kelly in conversation with Kathryn
Holmquist (24th June)
Library Voices -Where is it?
All events will be held in the Assembly Rooms, in County Hall, Marine
Road, Dun Laoghaire. All events will start at 7.30pm sharp.
Library Voices -What will happen at it?
The author will speak to the assembled audience (max 160) and there
will be chance to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine. There will
also be booksellers there with items from the featured author on the
night for sale. Book signings by the author also after the talk.
Library Voices -Where do I get tickets?
A selected number of tickets will be available from each DLR branch
library at a cost of €5 from Friday April 4th
