Invitation to Aperture Photo Competition Prize Giving Cermony

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Library Service in partnership with DLR's Social Inclusion Unit are pleased to invite you to attend the Aperture Photo Competition Prize-Giving Cermony and Exhibition Launch on Wednesday, 3rd December 2008. This event will take place in Deansgrange Library at 7pm.

This year we asked people to photograph people or places in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown which represent social inclusion and diversity. Furthermore, as 2008 is also the EU Year for Intercultural Dialogue, a special prize is being awarded for the photograph which best captures a good example of 'intercultural dialogue'.

A selection of entries will also be available to view on Flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/dlrlibraries) throughout the duration of the exhibition.
