‘Lion Boy' by Zizou Corder
‘The Lion Boy is the first of a trilogy. It is a very good book written by Zizou Corder who is actually two girls.
It is about a boy called Charlie who has the gift to talk to cats. The twist in the book is that Charlie's parents get taken away and he has to go on an adventure to rescue them. He joins the circus and helps lions to escape. All the time, he is being chased by a person called Rafi who is trying to kidnap him as well.
I found the book very exciting and hard to put down. I would give it nine out of ten. I am looking forward to the sequel'.
