The most recent Dublin Economic Monitor has been published, and features the following key points that are reflective of Q2, 2017:
- Dublin's unmployment rate dipped to a nine year low of 6.1%,
- Public transport trips continue to grow strongly to reach a new peak of over 52 million passenger journeys,
- Passenger arrivals at Dublin airport maintained upward momentum over the quarter,
- Housing completions in Dublin increased to over 540 in May 2017 and will be expected to rise further following the increased level of housing commencencements.
