Met Eireann have issued a RED storm warning for the Leinster Area. Storm Ophelia winds expected to be at maximum strength at approx 1300. We advise you to stay indoors and stay safe. Please STAY AWAY from beaches, piers, promenades and cliff edges.

DLR Council personnel will be on standby during the course of Monday. Resources will be prioritised to deal with emergency circumstances but due to the serious health and safety risks presented by a Status Red wind warning, and the need to ensure the safety and welfare of Council staff in such conditions, Council operational staff will only be responding to matters of serious and imminent danger to the public during the period for which the weather warning remains in force.

Homeless Rough Sleepers: Safe place resource in the Cross Care Community Cafe in Eblana Avenue in Dún Laoghaire. From 1100 ahead of strongest winds.
