The following conditions apply to all applicants wishing to avail of the Council's service: 1. The wheeled bin is provided free of charge to the resident and remains property of the County Council (Householders who damage or mislay their bins may be required to pay a charge of 40 to cover replacement and associated administration costs). 2.
Regular Pay by Weight Statements will issue. There are three elements to the charge: The foregoing charges apply in respect of the County Council's Refuse Collection Service in 2009 and may be subject to change for 2010 and subsequent years. 3. It is the resident's responsibility to safely secure their own bin and present it for collection when required, not overloaded and with the lid fully closed. The County Council does not accept any responsibility for erroneously presented bins or disputed sources of waste. 4. New customers should contact the Council on (01) 2054810 to initiate a service. Bin delivery must be acknowledged by a signature from the recipient who is then accepting the terms and conditions relating to the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council Refuse Collection Service. 5. If a registration problem arises for our existing customers they may get a green sticker on their bin with a free phone number to call, please phone 1890 923947 in this instance. 6.
Householders can minimise their charges by only presenting the bin when full and
by minimising and recycling waste whenever possible.
