Youth Arts Action Committee
What's if for?
It's to enable young people to be involved in the complete artistic process, from developing and instigating projects to making and realising creative processes.
Who's involved?
Young people between the age of 13 and 25
Were can I meet them?
The committee will be very involved in The Grainstore, DLR's Youth Arts Facility. There will be regular drop-in evenings organised by the committee and you're more than welcome to come along.
Can I get involved?
Of course, the more young people involved the better. If you are between the age of 13 and 25 and are interested in becoming involved, feel free to contact Michael McLoughlin our Youth Arts Worker on 01 2047979.
What's it all about?
We believe that our Youth Arts Program is developed with a true understanding of the interests and concerns of young people in the area. The ethos behind our approach is that our Youth Arts Program will be developed by Young People, for Young People. The Youth Arts Action Committee is being developed to put Young People at the centre of the process of developing, planning and creating all over the DLR area.
