Invitation to tender for design and print management of dlr Arts Policy
dlr Arts Office would like to invite submissions to tender for the design and print management of the dlr Arts Policy 2011-14 entitled Continuing the Conversation and an invite to the launch of the policy.
Background
The policy is available for perusal on www.dlrcoco.ie/arts
Requirements
The policy text alone amounts to a 24 page word document. The finished design should also include a number of large images and should be no larger than A4.
The policy will need to be designed and printed in English and Irish (as separate publications or both languages contained within the one publication).
dlr Arts Office requires a creative contemporary look that is innovative and attractive while also clearly conveying information in an accessible manner. The chosen graphic designer’s work will need to appeal to a range of audiences and compliment a variety of art forms.
Print Requirements
Please submit a quote for both option A and B
A) 1,500 copies of the policy in English and 50 copies in Irish and 1,000 invites
and
B) 1,500 copies of the policy in both English and Irish in the one publication and 1,000 invites
Please submit the following information:
- Letter of interest
- Quote in euro inclusive of VAT – please give details of number of design hours, VAT breakdown, paper quality and print finishes
- Samples of work (examples of policy documents are not required but are advantageous)
- Referees

Timeline :
Deadline for receipt of tender: Weds the 16th of November at 12 noon.
No late submissions will be considered.
It is envisaged that work will start immediately and be completed by mid December 2011.
