Parking Scheme at Newtownsmith
Approved at Council meeting 5th July, 2010
This pay parking scheme was approved by the Elected Members of the Council, at the July 5th Council meeting.The scheme provides for up to 13 no. car parking spaces and 1 no. disabled parking bay. The provision of the scheme will necessitate the relocation of approximately 80 metres of the existing wall into the green area by approximately 700mm. The relocated wall will be constructed with granite-facing.
The scheme will safely provide for pedestrians and all traffic modes on this section of Newtownsmith.
