Woodbrook/Shanganagh Local Area Plan 2006-2016
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 12 of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act, 2010, that on 10th October, 2011 the Council of the County of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown being the Planning Authority for the County, extended the life of the Woodbrook/Shanganagh Local Area Plan.
The following Resolution was passed:-
That pursuant to Section 19 (1)(d) of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as inserted by Section 12 (9)(ii) of the Planning & Development (Amendment) Act 2010, the Council resolves to defer the sending of a notice under Section 20 (3)(a)(ii) of the Act of 2000 and publishing a notice under Section 20 (3)(a)(ii) for a period of 5 years and hereby resolves
To extend the life, by a further five years (i.e. up to and including 13 November, 2016), of the Woodbrook/Shanganagh Local Area Plan, 2006, in accordance with the provisions of Section 12 of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act, 2010, (which amends Section 19 of the Principal Act) and provides for the extension of the valid life of a Local Area Plan (LAP). The extension of the LAP is sought in order to provide Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and all other relevant stakeholders adequate time and opportunity to realise the strategic objectives of the LAP which, given the current economic circumstances, is both necessary and in accordance with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area.
A copy of the Resolution and the County Manager's Report are available for inspection at the offices of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Planning Department, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm and at Dundrum Local Office, Dundrum Office Park, Main Street, Dundrum, Dublin 14 between the hours of 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (Public Holidays excluded). Report submitted in accordance with Section 19 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended) in relation to Woodbrook/Shanganagh Local Area Plan 2006-2016.
Advice to the Elected Members on proposal to invoke their powers, under Section 12 of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act, 2010, (which amends Section 19 of the Principal Act), and provides for the extension of the valid life of a Local Area Plan, in this case the extension of the valid life of the Woodbrook/Shanganagh Local Area Plan for a further period, being not greater than five (5) years.
