Weed Spraying & Gully Cleaning
Weed-Spraying
The programme for weed-spraying on footpaths and walkways begins in the last week of March each year.
This process takes between four and eight weeks, depending on the weather, which means that the weeds are killed off by June.
If there is a footpath/walkway in your area that is need of spraying please contact the Litter Management Section to have it added to the rota.
Gully Cleaning
The programme for gully cleaning is carried out throughout the year.
If there is a blocked gully in your area that is need of cleaning please contact the Litter Management Section to have it added to the rota.
