The Co Co Markets Summer of Music is Back!
Following the success of last year’s Summer of Music in the Markets, the CoCo Markets are looking for musical acts to perform family-friendly music and song every weekend this summer.
We are looking for acts to perform in our Marlay Park Market on Saturdays and our Peoples Park Market on Sundays.

Music in the Park- Peoples Park Co Co Market
Come along to the Peoples Park Co Co Market this Sunday, the 24th April 2016, for a great family fun day! Renowned trad band Le Chéile will be playing music throughout the day along with Irish dancing, face painting and entertainers.
The Co Co Market will be in full swing with a wide selection of food, produce, crafts and drinks for a family lunch in the Park as well as all you need to bring home for a great quality dinner.
Come along and celebrate 100 years of the Irish spirit in a great location and a fun filled family friendly atmosphere! The Market starts at 11am with music and activities from 12:30pm
The Co Co Markets serve as a springboard for emerging businesses, provide a forum for the local food movement and offer a focal point for vibrant community gatherings. What makes the Co Co Markets stand out is the picturesque setting of the markets in the county’s most beautiful parks. The Co Co Markets are not just farmers’ markets but also showcase the produce and works of local artists and artisans.
Visit the Co Co Markets this weekend, browse the art and craft stalls, sample the fresh fruit and veg, get a tasty lunch and follow it up with an indulgent treat from one of the tempting baked goods stalls.

Saturdays 10 am-4 pm & Marlay Park Sundays 11 am – 4 pm.
This picturesque location in Rathfarnham, overlooked by the historic 18th Century Marlay House and within the grounds of the 247 acre park is home to a playground, a par-3 golf course, a model railway, running and walking trails and various sports facilities including tennis courts, football pitches and a cricket ground. The Marlay Park Co Co Market is nestled within the charming craft courtyard of Marlay house. Vendors are keen to build relationships with customers and share their passion for their products.

Sundays 11 am – 4 pm.
The People’s Park Co Co Market is located on the edge of Dún Laoghaire town centre in the historic People’s Park. The Park has been open to the public since 1890 and features great examples of Victorian architecture with the Gate Lodge and the Tea Rooms, a bandstand featuring the original gaslight standards and a playground. The market is a very popular spot, attracting large crowds every weekend. Over 50 vendors trade each Sunday selling a wide range of products including hot food, baked goods, art and crafts, artisan food products and seasonal produce.

The reduced artist rate is only available in the Peoples Park as it relates to hanging space on the railings along The Metals. Artists are welcome to apply for a space in Marlay Park, however the craft rate will apply as it is a 3 x 3 metre pitch.

For those of you not currently using electricity – there is no change to your rent.
For electricity users – your rental fee has dropped to the lower rate of rent in your category.
All vendors using electricity will be charged a per socket charge.
The fees are:

This fee is per socket – so if you use 2 sockets you will be charged double. The charge is also per market – if you use one socket in the Peoples Park and one socket in Marlay Park you will be charged for 2 sockets.
