Information on the nomination process for non-party candidates at a General Election

In the event of a General Election non-party candidates may get their nomination paper assented to by 30 assentors by completing Statutory Declarations forms, available to download and print below. The relevant forms for the making of Statutory Declarations can be obtained free of charge from Returning Officers and Registration Authorities. Hard copy forms will be available in County Hall, Dún Laoghaire and Dundrum Office shortly.
