Accident Investigation and Prevention

Dalkey Avenue

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has prepared the preliminarily design of the Dalkey Avenue Accident Investigation and Prevention (AIP) Scheme.

The scheme aims to improve safety for all road users along Dalkey Avenue by providing a number of features along the route including traffic calming measures.

The proposals will be available for inspection during normal office hours Monday to Friday from Monday 9th March 2009 to Friday 3rd April 2009 (both dates inclusive) at the following locations:

·        County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin

·        Dalkey Library

Comment sheets are also available at any of the locations where the proposals are on display. Closing date for receipt of submissions will be 4.00 pm Friday 17h April 2009. Observations should be clearly marked: ‘Dalkey Avenue AIP Scheme’
