Test Digs

If you want to find out if a further burial can take place in a grave you can request a test dig. This can be done through the office in Dean’s Grange for a fee of €170.

Payment is made in cash or by cheque/postal order (made payable to Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council). If the legal owner of the plot is deceased the next of kin must give permission for the test dig to be carried out. We will notify you of the test results.
