dlr Draft Open Space Strategy 2011 - 2015 (Full Text and Drawings)
The Council's draft Open Space Strategy is now on view in County Hall, the Council's Dundrum office and in all branch libraries and online at www.dlrcoco.ie/parks (linked to above) from 2.00p.m on Wednesday, 20 July 2011.
In 2009 dlr embarked on an ambitious project - to document the county's 'green estate': its network of open spaces, parks and outdoor recreational facilities; and to prepare a strategy for the future management of these assets and related policies and services.
The resulting survey, audit and assessment were completed in 2010 and a comprehensive strategy was prepared based on the findings of the audit and assessment. The Strategy includes the results of a questionnaire survey of the public.
This second public consultation provides the public with the opportunity to comment on the draft strategy.
