Call for Youth Arts Incubation Award
Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council invites applications for the Youth Arts Incubation Awards based in The Grainstore, dlr’s Youth Arts Facility in Cabinteely Park.
The awards are aimed at offering rehearsal/workshop space to individual practitioners and/or collectives to research and develop new ideas/work for youth arts related engagements. We are offering a maximum of two awards from Sept– Dec 2011.
The successful applicant/s will be allocated relevant space within the Grainstore, Cabinteely Park (maximum allocation is 30 hours) and a maximum stipend of €500.
Please note that only proposals of a non-commercial nature will be considered.
Interested applicants should apply in writing and include 4 hard copies of each of the following (email applications will not be accepted)*
- Statement outlining your interest in the youth arts incubation award and relevance and benefit of opportunity to your work to date
- Curriculum Vitae/s
- Two referees
- Outline of proposal to include timeframe and proposed use of space (workshop/rehearsal/art-form etc). Details of any proposed engagement with young people.
- Details of any external support/partnerships if applicable.
*Supplementary information may be submitted in addition to requirements above to support your application but please note that they will not be returned to applicants.

- Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council reserves the right to form a panel from applicants to this call out for future opportunities from dlr Arts Office. Dún Laoaghire-Rathdown County Council also reserves the right not to award the maximum hours and/or stipend.
